iPhone 11 wifi works but drops internet connection frequently
I have a brand new Deco X60 system with three units. We have 3 IPhone 11 Pro in our home plus MacBooks and other systems. Two of the iPhones keep loosing internet connection although there is full wifi strength signal. On has no problem and all have the same setup. To regain the internet, I have to disconnect wifi on the iPhone and turn back on.
I have tried all of the following: disconnect main unit and modem from outlet, all home care utilities (antivirus, etc) are turned off, on iPhone I have reset network and cleared all wifi setup, on iPhone iOS 14 the private connection had been disabled.
The setup is: main unit connected to the modem as the router, then connected to a net gear 8 port switch, then two units connected via Ethernet to the switch.
Before the Deco X60 I had an apple time machine and repeaters working fine. I updated to X60 for the reviews and speed and I am frustrated after one week of use.

Hi,
Since the firmware is updated via web UI, you might need to do it one by one so Deco M9 plus would not use this firmware.
And if this firmware is not working, you could roll back to the previous firmware via the same method.
Thank you very much.

Good day,
Please refer to the following suggestions to have a look:
1.Please turn off the fast roaming, beamforming on the Deco APP ;
2.Disable the Mesh technology on these two iPhone 11 phones;
If still no difference, when the iPhones lost connection, were they still connected to the Deco with no internet service, or they were disconnected from Deco’s WiFi already?
And if still connected, what are the IP addresses and gateway?
Please try to enable the 2.4ghz only guest network with another SSID, WPA2 security, would the connection get much stable?
Thank you very much.

Turning off 5ghz reduces speed to less than ¼. Turning off mesh technology then I might as well return the goods as this is the main purpose of the purchase.
iPhones remain connected to the wifi at all times, what happens is that they are "blocked" or something similar to the internet after using it. Main issue happens when streaming video from Instagram or other similar source and using WhatsApp phone service.
The IP address is: 192.168.68.66
The gateway is: 192.168.68.66

Another issue I also found was on my iMac. If I try a couple of times using Speedtest.net via web browser (safari) then suddenly after two or three times I get the same situation, no more internet but still connected to wifi. I have to turn wifi off and back on again to regain internet access. If use the Speedtest app instead of the browser version, I can use it as many times with no problems.
I surely think something is blocking the ip.

Had similar problems for quite a while. Hesitant to declare final victory yet, but I turned off "Obtain DNS Automatically" and entered Google's DNS servers (8.8.8.8 and 8.8.4.4) yesterday morning. This is under Advanced -IPV4 - Internet Connections Type. Great speed and ZERO disconnects for over a day now. With the auto setting, it used its own address (192.168.1.1) for both DNS entries, and that always puzzled me. I'm guessing it just passed DNS requests on through to your ISP's selected DNS servers, and maybe that didn't always work well with some ISPs.

Hi,
Could you please turn off the private address on the IOS devices to have a look, such as:
https://support.apple.com/en-us/HT211227
and if possible, please try to change the DNS on the Deco as well to see if that helped.
Thank you very much and wait for your reply.

I have swithced off the private wifi connection since my first post.
When you say to change the DNS are you indicating to be done on the iphone as on a previous post to 8.8.8.8 or is there a way to change it in the Deco unit?
