Wifi connection with Brother MFC-J5720DW
With the firmware (1.4.0) the Brother printer was succesfuly connected with the Deco M5. That connecting process was only succesfull with this brother set-up wizard tool; all other possibilities failed. Now, after installing the new firmware, this Brother tool also failed.
With this tool (and also on the screen op the printer using the other connection methods) the Deco's are found, but entering the WPA key did result in a connection. Very pity.

After the disconnection problems with my Mac I decided to reboot the Deco first.
This was very succesfull!
The Brother printer is again part of the network!

Good day,
Thank you very much for your kind reply.
Have you disabled the fast roaming and beam forming on the Deco APP to have a look?
Would turn off the 5ghz band fix this issue?
If possible, Could you please refer to the following instruction to have a try:
1. enable the guest network for 2.4ghz only;
2. choose no security temporarily;
Then check If the printer could be connected;
Thank you very much and wait for your reply.

Much Thanks for your advices,
However the suggested measures did not solve the problem.
But turn off of the 5 Ghz Wifi resulted also in a disconnection of the Wifi receiving on my MacBook pro!
My Mac could -comparable with the Brother printer- see/received the Wifi signal as such, but the WPA key was not accepted and the connection could nog be made.
