Model: Deco M5
Hardware Version:
Firmware Version: Ac1300

Hi, we have three deco m5s and three ethernet ports on different floors. We don't want the deco's to create a mesh but connect each one separately to one of the ethernet ports. The three ports are all connected to the same router. The app does not offer this option. Can anyone please advise on the way to go? Thank you, Leo

@Leo-from-R

The "mesh," in its essence, is just seamless transfer of mobile device between multiple WiFi range extenders. If you don't want it - just ignore it.

If I understand you correctly, what you don't want to have is run Deco in Router mode, which is where you will be restricted in how Decos can be wired.The solution is simple: configure Deco to run in Access Point (AP) mode - then, you can wire each of them to the same router, or all to the same switch that is connected to router, or any other way as long as they are part of your home wired network.
