Hello

I'm having new router AC 1200 or Archer VR400

when I'm trying to replace my old router with this router I'm directly losing my telephone connection

what I'm doing is having direct line splited in two, one for the internet and the other for the telepohne

and when I'm disconnected the telephone and connect the main line directly to router I couldn`t get the internet from the router also and I'm sure

the configuration is correct PPPoE with the right username and pass that I'm using right now on the old router

Any Help Please

You should have an ADSL splitter. When the main line goes into the ADSL splitter it splits into 2 different lines (Internet and Phone). You should connect the Internet line to the VR400 DSL port, the other line stays where it is - between the splitter and the phone.

OK, if you want to put the new ADSL router in place of the old one, just move the cabling (Internet cable comming from the splitter and going to the DSL port of the ADSL router) from the old ADSL router to the new ADSL router.

TBH, there shouldn't be any relation between what ADSL modem (new one or the old one) is connected and the phone operation. Only the internet should be affected when you swapping the ADSL routers. Do you have internet access with the new ADSL router ? If you don't, have you configured all ADSL parameters the way they were on the old ADSL router ? If you have done everything correctly and you still don't have internet access and/or phone, I would suggest to double check your cabling (look at my first post).
