Model: Archer C20
Hardware Version: V5
Firmware Version: 0.9.1 4.16 v0001.0 Build 181213 Rel.33336n(5553)

I recently bought the Archer C20 V5 router online on Flipkart(India). The back panel of device says "Model: Archer C20(US)". When I visit TP link India website for fimware update it shows:

Is this the right firmware update for this router?

Also, What is the difference between EU and US version of the firmware?

@WiFiDude

Hello, thanks for asking.

Generally, the Wi-Fi products sold in different regions need to comply with local regulations, thus there are limitations and restrictions between different hardware versions, you need to upgrade the firmware based on its region version.

If you bought a US version, you may wait for the new firmware release on the local official website or keep an eye on the web GUI, you will get a notice once there is a new firmware available.

Good day.

Thanks for the reply. FYI, the router has been bought from an authorized online reseller (linked from the official local website's buy now section) and has been supplied by TP Link India. Just that there's a mismatch with the product hardware version and the firmware update on the official local website.

@Rushabh

May I know which firmware version did you install on the C20 v5 US? How did you upgrade it? You may check if you can reinstall the US version on the router via tftp:
