TL-WA855RE keeps disconnecting
Hi, as the title said, my range extender keeps disconnecting.
More info: im using an acer laptop with j5create ethernet adapter which is connected to the range extender. The problem occurs mostly when im playing. The extended wifi's name is different from the router and it will switch out between the two and the ethernet's name become (internetname)2. The signal light disappears for a moment until it reconnects again, but the ethernet takes a while to come back on.

It’s recommended to upgrade to the new firmware following the instruction How to upgrade the firmware of my range extender (new logo)? as soon as possible;

Hi thank you for replying.
Ive had the extender for not long as I recently bought it (around 1 month ago).
When the connection drops out, the signal light disappears.
Im gonna try the new firmware and see if the problem still persist.Thank you

@Solla-topee Hi sorry again but its still disconnecting randomly, then would connect back again. Im using ethernet with j5 create ethernet adapter into an acer laptop. The signal led would disappear for a moment then would come back on. I turned off my wifi to see if maybe because its switching between internet is the problem. But it still disconnects. Ive updated it to the new firmware.

It is recommended to create a new post if you have trouble setting up your range extender , thank you.
If the extender has no internet access after the configuration, please check the RE light or signal Led on the extender. If it is Off, please refer to Case 1 in this article to do the troubleshooting:
