No 4G internet in Spain with SMARTY SIM (3 network)

Hi all,
I have been trying for the past 4 days to get an internet connection while I am in Spain with the Archer MR600 and using a SMARTY SIM card. The SIM card works perfectly when used in my phone and I get 4G connection in Spain. However while the SIM card gave me an internet connection at home in the UK with this router I can't connect to the internet in Spain using the Archer MR600. I tried to create a profile using the same APN as on my phone but it simply won't connect. SMARTY are using the 3 network. The WiFi signal is on and I have 3 bars of connection as well but no internet connection I tried to contact TP link support twice and they have not gone back to me. I also downloaded the latest firmware and ISP but due to a lack of instructions I am not sure what to do with those files either. Not sure if they will solve ky problem either. Has anyone faced this internet connection issue when using this product abroad using a 3/SMARTY SIM card?

- Make sure the data roaming has been enabled:
- Check if there is an IP address under the advanced>status>internet;
