TP LINK TL-WPA4220KIT

I had brought my TP LINK TL-WPA4220KIT 2 years ago, and it is located in one of the bedrooms connected to my computer via an Ethernet cable for stronger signal and I use my WiFi as a back up. But all of a sudden it won't connect via the LAN cable and will only do so by WiFi which has made things run a lot slower. Any tips on how to get this problem resolved or do I need to purchase a new WiFi extender? Hope someone can help

When the Ethernet connection failed to work, would the bottom Ethernet light still lit up?
Since there are two Ethernet ports on the WPA4220, did both of them fail to work?
If yes, could you please help me check the IP address and default gateway on the computer?
In case it is a cable issue, please also try to switch a different cable;
