Hi I have a archer ac2300 modem with an internet connection on back for ethernet cable but my master socket is a Dsl cable is it better to buy another seperate modem only to run this ,or can I buy a cable that has a rj11 and rj45 ends on and plug that in would that work .

currently have an old sky fibre router can I plug cabe from Lan 1 from this and plug in to interent pory of ac2300 would that work ok any advice guys thanks
