Even though in 5G range, RE305 is not picking up 5G range

May I know the model number of your home router? It is Huawei router

Have you tried to change the wireless channel of home router, like channel 40/48 for 5ghz?

Is this the first time for you to set up the 5ghz?

Have you tried to change the wireless channel of home router, like channel 40/48 for 5ghz?

Is this the first time for you to set up the 5ghz?

My router is jio. Yes this is first time. Kindly guide or need to return the same if it does not pick up 5GHZ

Can I have a picture of the bottom label with the model on the Jio router?

Have you tried to change the channel? If yes, would that help?

The 2.4ghz is already working fine right?

By the way, during the setup, if it is not able to detect the Jio’ 5ghz, how about other 5ghz networks?

I tried activating the 5 ghz only in jio router only for WPS. 

Then resetted the TP link and started again still it only catches 2.4 ghz. 

It is searching for 5ghz for other users however being in good sufficient distance with mother router not picking up 5ghz.

Hi

 

I have Huawei 8145v5 router. CHannel no is set to Auto here and this particular field is masked.  In additon as per the operator it can't be changed and extender should be able to connect with fild set to Auto.
