Model: TL-WPA8630 KIT
Hardware Version:
Firmware Version:

Twice in the space of two months my wired connection via power line adaptors has stopped working. And refused to start working again until I actually change for a brand new Ethernet cable. All the lights are green, I've tried unplugging everything and restarting everything and re pairing everything but nothing restores the connection unless I use a new Ethernet cable. Is it really possible the adaptors are frying the cables?

@Tinderboxxx

Good day.

Sorry for the delay.

Would the wireless connection work well all the time?

After you changed a new cable, was there any burnt part on the old cable?

Or if you used the old cable somewhere else, did it still work?

How long have you had the adapter and when did the issue start?

Thank you very much.
