Deco M5 - Subnet blank in WAN Dynamic IP
Have Netgear MR1100 with IP passthrough enabled.
When selecting Advanced...IP4...WAN...Internet Connecton Type...Dynamic IP, the Deco M5 incorrectly sets the subnet blank! Internet connection is then broken.
By selecting "Static IP" and setting the subnet to 255.255.255.0, everything works! Obviosly can't use it like this, as the ISP changes the IP randomly (i.e. reboot).
Need to have this fixed. If the subnet is retrieved incorrectly, at least there should be an option to override it when "Dynamic IP" is selected. Thanks!
Dynamic IP (does not work, subnet wrong):
Static IP (works, subnet correct):

Hello,
May I know who is your ISP and what kind of modem are you using, is it a cable modem or DSL modem?
Please ensure you have internet access when connecting your PC to your ISP modem directly, confirm what is the IP address and subnet mask on that PC. If it is a Windows computer, you can Press Windows key + "R”->type in "ncpa.cpl”->right click the "Ethernet/Local Area Connection" ->Status->Details, remember that MAC address.
Relaunch the Deco app and start over, select “Manually Enter MAC address” to give it a go:

@hmhaga It is interesting to note that with my current issue I am getting a similar result:
. not subnet mask defined if I set dynamic IP with DHPC
- no internet connection as a result
Please see my post here. Maybe you can be in a similar situation...

Hi, nice to see you again.
I wonder are you able to change the default gateway to be 43.13.105.1/255.255.255.0, then leave the DNS to be 80.67.167.1 and 80.67.167.2?
Your case has similarity with the OP but your new ISP also defined the WAN IP range, which is not the same as the opener.
Currently, I am thinking your WAN subnet mask might be 0.0.0.0 which makes WAN IP range and LAN ip range are overlapped.

Hi, I see the Deco X60 is online already, and have you got the issue fixed?
If yes, may I know how?
Thank you very much.

Hello,
As both cases are different, I'll try not to steal this discussion then, and I propose to continue discussing about my issue on this thread.
