Hello,

I'm trying to set up the AX-11000 to use on BT broadband. I can't seem to get IPv6 working. I've tried the settings I've seen on a BT forum but not having any luck with them. Anyone got any ideas?

Hello,

Below are some instructions to set up an IPv6 connection on the wireless router:

How to set up IPv6 service for BT/Hyperoptic(UK) on the wireless router

If the connection still fails, please ensure you have activated the IPv6 service with your BT line and all the IPv6 parameters are correct, then verify the information as below:

1. What is your network topology, is it BT modem--AX11000?

2. Is the IPv4 connection on the AX11000 good or not? What is the WAN IP address of it?

3. Is the IPv6 connection type the same as IPv4? What is it?

Thanks.

@Kevin_Z

IPv6 was working on the home hub that this router has replaced.

Connection is to BT/Open Reach modem. BT full fibre 900

IPv4 connection is good

Told to use these settings: IPv4 is PPOE

PPOE

Same account as IPv4

Get IVp6 address non address (can't find the option for this)

prefix delegation enable

obtain DNS automatically no (used Google's) assigned type slaac+RDNSS

Wondering if the problem is the prefix as BT uses 56 and it seems router is only 64.

@zmulla84 No, couldn't get it to work even after the firmware update. Swapped it for the Asus Rog Ax-11000 which worked perfectly straight away.

Hi, I found a new document from the TP-Link website, that helps!  How to set up IPv6 service for BT/Hyperoptic(UK) on the wireless router https://www.tp-link.com/uk/support/faq/2942/

Hello, thanks for reporting issues to the community.

What if you disable the IPv6, will the CPU be normal? BTW, how did you monitor the CPU usage on the AX11000?
