Model: Adapter
Hardware Version: V6
Firmware Version:

So I curently have this product and have been using it for a few years now and works perfectly fine https://www.tp-link.com/uk/home-networking/powerline/tl-wpa4220-kit/

i connect the smaller one to my router and the larger one in another room and it works but I need to add 2 more additional ones to my existing network I have 2 questions can I use the starter kits that come with 2 as additional Powerline adapters or do I have to get the specific one? Also can I use a different variant of tp link and would they still work together?

Thanks for you help

@Xsilent0

Hi,

All the TP-Link powerline adapters are compatible with each other.

If you want to add another powerline adapter into the current TL-WPA4220 KIT, it is suggested to buy a 4 series, like TL-WPA4220, TL-WPA4226.

https://www.tp-link.com/en/home-networking/powerline/

If you want to but a KIT, it is OK.

Here you can know more about how to choose a powerline product:

https://community.tp-link.com/en/home/stories/detail/564

And you only need to press the pair button to add the new unit.

Instruction as below:

Good day.
