@Kathy_Z

After messing about on this forum for 6 months with this question  and then TP Link wrongly claiming to have resolved it , it shows as I have said before that you  continue to issue new hardware every few weeks ( or days ?) and  dont understand its inter relation with Windows 10 , or resolve past mistakes..

As far as Asus Z390 boards and presumably other similar ones , I have this product  working consistently "almost"  100 %

I have disabled the default network adaptor  AC9560 ( wifi 1) in Device Manager , but what remains a problem with TX3000E (wifi 2 ) is the 5Ghz frequency will only work at 160 mhz for short periods and reverts back to 80 mhz.

The through wifi speed however is quite good .

As said before , on attempting to  reinstall Windows 10, there occurs a blue screen of death because the TPLink ntw network  driver  for TX3000E adaptor is not available in Windows 10 installation discs !!

.

To get round  taking out the adaptor and replacing it after windows installation, add the correct nettwtw08 driver, and then disabling the internal wifi 1 setup , ( plainly ridiculous ) I have configured a modified version of Windows 10 Pro via NTLite (www.ntlite.com) which allows you to add all required drivers and updates to your boot setup ( and remove , if needed ,any excess functions ) and make a usb boot disc to reinstall Windows 10 latest versions.

Your entry is correct . The correct intel driver will show network entry as AX200 160 mhz This is their signature entry for Wifi 6 ( all hardware suppliers are same )

I've just had similar experiences to others here. Removing my old (cheap no-brand ebay card) and installing this, the device was not detected.

However, installing the old card alongside the TP-Link card allowed Windows 10 to search online automatically and the TP-Link card was recognised as Intel Wi-Fi 6 AX200 160mhz (which, apparently, is the correct identification). Afterwards, I shutdown, uninstalled the old card again and booting up again, everything appears to be working.

Presumably, if you can connect to your router via ethernet instead of an old wifi card, that would also work. The main point is having an internet connection when installing this card - which is a little counterintuitive!

Hope that helps someone...

I just wanted to share what did it for me. I have an old honker of a motherboard, an Asus Sabertooth z77 which might explain my troubles, but what did it for me was to set PCI Express X16_3 slot bandwidth to X1 mode in BIOS and presto the card was detected. Also it only seemed work for one of the PCIe 2.0 x1 slots Hope this helps.

I've put it into PCIE X4 Slot on my Gigabyte GA-Z77MX-D3h with Xeon Prozessor and the card doesn't work on my system I've got error Code 10...

Earlier I haven't any troubles with hardware compatibilities....this is the first case and as TP-Link wrote in specification "card is compatible with PCIE X1/X4/X8" ... I put card in the slot and try to install drivers ...what I iam doing wrong ? Maybe card has many compatibility problems ..

Hello everyone,

  • If your PCIe Wireless adapter is not recognized or network adapter disappears in after waking up from sleep mode,

check more tips here  that may help with your case.

Fix: TX3000E/TX50E/TX75E Wi-Fi Adapter Not Recognized or Disappears after Waking up from Sleep Mode

1. check PCIe slot configuration  settings in Bios

2. check if there is M.2 Slots that might affect PCIe Slots.

  • If TX3000E /TX50E's  hardware is detected in device manager, but got some other problems like Windows Error code or other Error while using the adapter ,

please try the Intel latest driver (which is 22.140 for now)  from link below:
