Model: TL-WPA7510 KIT
Hardware Version: V1
Firmware Version: TL-WPA7510_V1.0_20181212

1) Can I set SSID/PW same as Main router? So that I don't need to switch between main router area and another rooms which no /weak signals for main router but auto pick up by clients to powerline extenders.

2) Are there any side effect by using same SSID for all powerline extenders?

3) Do I need to create separate SSID for each extenders?

@TLWIN

Hello,

1. Here is a FAQ you can refer to customize the SSID and password:

    https://www.tp-link.com/en/support/faq/1611/

2. You can set the same SSID for both extenders if you don't need to distinguish which one you want to use. Normally, it will not have any side effects.

Have a nice day!

so you mean I can set SSID of main router and all Extenders in other rooms are the same? I was told by one friend as must set SSIS of extender different from the Main router SSID if not can cause looping..is it true? In what case, this looping can occur and what is the side effect? Thanks
