Hi all,

 

I am just wondering if I have QoS set for a device which is on high priority (50%), would the router still preserve 50% bandwidth for that device even there are a bunch of unset devices connected to the same router or would those unset devices override the priority? Also, when the set device is off, would the router still preserve and limit the speed for other devices?

Hello, there seems to be a misunderstanding for the QoS feature on the router, it is not related to the internet bandwidth that which device can use when you set a QoS rule for.

 

When you add one device who has a 50% priority, which means the traffic data for that device will be transferred with the highest priority. If that device is turned off, then there will be no priority when the router transferring data.
