RE450 AP Mode Maximum Connected Client

I have a TP-Link RE450 running in AP mode connected via ethernet to my router. sometimes its not accepting connections
what is the maximum number of concurrent connections allowed for 2.4ghz and for 5ghz?
and is the maximum connections combined for both 2.4ghz and 5ghz?
