Adding to existing powerline kit
Hi, I have a TL-PA8010P powerline kit v1 to extend the wifi to a corner of my mum's house. Now, I need to extend the wifi to another corner of the house where the wifi is poor. What do I need to get to achieve this? Can I just get an add on adapter or can I only get a kit? Also, if that is the way I need to go, will v2 be compatible with v1?
Many Thanks.

All the TP-Link powerline adapters are compatible with each other. No matter what hardware version it is.
Considering the starter kit is TL-PA8010PKIT, it is suggested to purchase 7/8/9 series, TL-WPA8630P is a good choice cause it supports wifi function.

Here's my problem. I have
TP-Link TL-WPA4220T KIT AV600 WLAN N300 WiFi Powerline with 2 adapters. I want to expand this now and bought the TP-Link TL-PA4010P KIT 600Mbit/s 2-Ports Passthrough Powerline Adapter Set (2x10/100Mbit.
But I can not integrate them into the existing network. They are recognized in tpplc Utility, the upper two LED lights are also constant, but still I have no WLan reception and I can't see them in the Wlan. What am I doing wrong?

Hi!
This is with regard to adding to an existing powerline kit.
If I had the TL-WPA7510 Kit and wanted to add some adapters, would getting an additional 7/8/9 series Kit give me 2 additional receivers to connect to the existing kit or only 1 additional receiver and 1 spare (originally to connect to the router) since they are a "starter kit"?
Thank you!

You can add 2 or more 7/8/9 series powerline adapters into your network. Our powerline adapter support multi nodes. Normally we sell kits because only one powerline adapter cannot work. But you can add more if you want.

Hi
If I'm not wrong you have bought 2 wired PLC?
WPA4220 KIT has one WPA4220 which has wireless function. But PA4010P KIT has 2 wired PLC. PA4010P KIT do not have wireless function.

Hi.
I have already extended my wifi upstairs using an AV600 adapter. I then wanted to add 2 additional adapters to extend it further. I managed to pair them (as shown in the picture) but then 5 mins later the top 2 lights switch off and the top one blinks - suggesting it is inactive. Can anyone help? I also have a small AV600 linked via an ethernet cable to my router downstairs.

Hi there
May I know all models of your TP-Link powerline devices?
The top light is the power light, if it blink, means the device is rebooting.
It might be caused by something inside the powerline network.
Please let me know all models of your powerline devices and I can help you with further.
Thanks.
