Hardware Version: V2
Firmware Version: 0.2.0 0.9.1 v0070.0 Build 170719 Rel.63031n

Hi, 

I've noticed that the router has started to give me this warning "Please configure your DNS manually" lately. It happens with cloudflare dns and despite that connection still seems to be working as usual although it says it is disconnected.

 

I ran diagnostics and both xdsl and wan tests passed, Network Connection Status Inspect (NCSI) failed.

 

Any suggestions?

Hi, please send us a screenshot when you get the warning "Please configure your DNS manually", and also the whole screenshot of Advanced--Status page. Thanks!

 

If you are still able to get online when that warning occurs, it is suggested to monitor the router for a while.

I've been using cloudflare DNS since forever and never had this warning. It may be something related to them.

I've switched to open DNS now and I don't get the warning and everything seems to be working fine.

I have the same problem. It started about 6 weeks ago. On the advanced page you can see the DSL connection is fine but NCSI fails. How can I switch of this test, it looks not to be needed ...
