Model: Deco P7
Hardware Version:
Firmware Version: 1.3.1 Build 20190704 Rel. 46693

Hello!

I have a setup of three Deco P7 units.

My provider gives me 100 mbps and I see that speed on my devices but after some time it limits to ~10 mbps. Only restart helps.
I have several devices and they are connected to different units. One is connected with ethernet cable, another is connected via wifi. They both show same behaviour.
When I restart the unit, speed goes up for a bit of time and then goes down again.

If I perform a speedtest within a Deco app, it reports with the normal 100mbps speed, but connected devices are working very slow. And I have a feeling that it is happening only on one of the three units.

It started only several weeks ago.

Thank you!

@qst

Thanks for your information, we can do some troubleshooting to locate this issue and try to figure it out.

1. When the speed slows down to 10Mbps, please check the speed you can get from main Deco by wired cable and wireless respectively. And you can test the speed from the two slave Decos one by one.

2. You can power on the main Deco only first and take some time to test its performance, and then you can add the slave Deco gradually and locate the issue.

3. You can adjust the location of the Decos or swap them; and you can switch the slave Deco to main Deco and give it a go.
