Archer AX50 router doesn't support the ax3000 speed.
Hi,
I received the ax50 router yesterday and currently struggling with it.
I have one ASUS pce-ax58BT and one IPTIME ax3000px WiFi card. Also both of them support ax3000 speed.
Of course, it works fine, but both cards just get 1.2 Gbps speed connection. If the ax50 support ax3000 speed, then connection speed must be 2.4 Gbps.
I've already trying to change set up (Advanced>wireless>wireless setting>5Ghz> mode, change width, channel) but it doens't work.
What should I check in this case?

First of all, Im happy to let you know that my problem has been solved.
The problem was DFS channel. I found that wifi 6(160 Mhz) need DFS channel to operating with 2.4 Gbps speed.
Now I know that DFS channel need time to scan and it takes almost 1 minute. I thought that channel wasn't work before, cause I didn't think it would take this long to connect.
Anyway I appreciate for your help!

Hello, have you ever changed the channel width of 5GHz to 160MHz?
Please ensure that it is 160MHz and then you can wait a while and test the wireless negotiation speed.
Any updates, be free to let us know.
Good day.

Thank you for replying, but I already tried it.
I've changed the mode to 160Mhz, but speed is still 1.2 Gbps. Also I tried 802.11ax only mode, but the result was the same.

Additionally, I am using ax50 in Korea.
Could Korean telecommunication law limit the connection speed of ax50?
I've tried all the settings I can , but still it works with 1.2 Gbps speed.

Thanks for your reply. Glad to hear that you figured it out.
And yes, the DFS channel is needed to get full 2.4GHz speed and it will take some time to detect it. I misunderstood that you have done that so that I did not mention it.
Anyway, everything is working properly now. If need more help in the future, be free to let us know.
Good day.
