Model: TL-WPA9610 KIT
Hardware Version:
Firmware Version:

Hi all,

I recently purchased the above kit and am really happy with the purchase.

I want to purchase an additional 'node' (I'm not sure if that is the correct terminology) for the upstairs office but can't for the life of me figure out a) if that is possible (I think it's possible to add up to 8 'nodes' in total for this model) and b) what is the model number of what I need to but so that I can go to Amazon and make the purchase.  I would like the spec to be as close to what I've got already to ensure that I future proof my system as far as possible.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Hello, for your information, all the TP-Link powerline adapters are compatible with each other.

Considering you have the TL-WPA9610KIT, the 7/8/9 series would be a good choice. And if you want to buy a single unit, the TL-WPA8630P is a good choice.

You can read the case 2 of this article to get more details.

May it help.
