Model: Archer C9
Hardware Version: V5
Firmware Version: 1.2.4 Build 20190403 rel.63869(5553)

Can someone help me setting a DNS to a specific device (MAC ADDRESS), using wifi, without need to set it for all.
Using a Archer C9 v5
I wish to use adblock DNS servers to prevent a smart TV to show ads.

Thank you in advance.

Erich

@ErichViegas

Hello, you can setup the specific DNS on the smart TV itself.

Or if you have the adblock DNS server already, you can login to the web UI of Archer C9 and go to Advanced-network-LDHCP server page to change the DNS manually.

May it help.

Thank you for your reply. Setting it up on the tv somehow alow youtube app and others to circumvent the DNS. Anyway using DHCP DNS setting will not define the DNS for all devices connected?

On my previous router the option was on the Firewall settings.

I'm not very knowgleble on the matter, I really apreciate the assistance.

 Thanks
