Model: TL-PA9020 KIT
Hardware Version:
Firmware Version:

Have successfully configured 5 new TL-PA9020 devices and all of them working.

Next day, all but one of them have disappeared off the TPLink utility, will not reconnect to each other and no longer work. "middle" light flashes alternately RED then GREEN.

Have reset devices to factory setting to reconfigure the whole network, but pairing will still not recognise any additional device. The two devices to be paired are adjacent to each other in the same room and on the same circuit.

Any suggestions or help, please?

Hello, you can read the picture below to get the explanation of the led indicators.

Cause it flashes red and green, the performance may not be stable; at that time, with computer connected to the one of the adapters, can you get internet? Please click here to get the IP and gateway of your computer at that time. In the meantime, please connect your computer to the main adapter which connects to the router directly and verify whether it works well.

Try to swap their locations or setup the slave powerline adapter as the main one to give it a go.

Besides, you can plug them into the same room and pair them; after paired them, you can relocate them.

Thanks Kevin. The issue occurs when then devices are adjacent to each other on the same circuit, and they also worked perfectly on initial config. I don't believe the problem can be due to poor signal, as the LEDs suggest. Thanks for reminding me of the key in the instructions and taking an interest in helping me resolve the issue.

Hello, with them adjacent to each other on the same circuit, the powerline noise may affect the performance. Have you ever tried to change another sockets to plug them? Do they work well?
