Model: Deco M9 Plus
Hardware Version:
Firmware Version:

Hi All,

Sorry for such a basic question but I cannot find an answer in the forums :)

I have the Deco M( Plus system. The main conrollign deco of course only has 2 Ethernet ports, 1 which needs to be used for connection to the internet router and other presently utilised for my Sonos Bridge. I have just purchase a Hue Systsm witht e bridge, which also needs a wired connection to the controlling Deco.

It it possible to add a switch to the deco (such as this : https://www.tp-link.com/us/home-networking/5-port-switch/ls1005g/) and then use the switch to connect the Birdges?

Cheers

Nick

Hello, you can add an unmanaged switch behind the Deco M9 plus to provide more ethernet connection for wired devices.

May it help.
