What is the model number of the range extender?
Please ensure that the wifi led is on.
Try to login to the web UI by wired cable connected to get the wifi name.
Otherwise, hold the reset button/hole for 1s with the extender powered on and then you will find the default wifi name of the extender.
Good day.

@Kevin_Z Hey Kevin, I am still facing this problem even after hard reset of the extender for more than 5 times. Request your support in this
The extender in play is RE450.

From your another post, the current issue is that the RE450 cannot detect the wireless network;
First, try to move it closer to the main router.
You can change the wireless settings of the main router's wifi, like wireless channel. You can use channel 1, 6 and 11 for 2.4GHz, and channel 36, 40 and 44 for 5GHz.
And please ensure that the firmware is up to date.
Still the same, please show us the model number of the main router and its firmware version.
Good day.

Hello Kevin
Thanks for the Swift response mate.
I'll try changing the channels today in the router and see if it picks up the extender.
The firmware is up to date on the router.
On the extender, I'm not sure but i suspect it shld be updated.

Ensure that the firmware of the extender is up to date.
And try to enable the mobile hotspot on your smart phone and verify whether it can be detected by the extender when you set it up.
Still the same, please tell us the model number of the main router and its firmware version. And the firmware of the extender.
Good day.
