Hardware Version: V2
Firmware Version:

Hi

Is there a way to enable bandwidth control on my model?  or qos only for guests?  I switched from vr600v to vr900v 2.0 in my bar and notice that in the evenings when there are still 20-30 people in the WiFi, not much is left for me.  I think it's a shame because the vr900v 2.0 was very expensive and now such an important feature is missing.  maybe I just can not find this function.

I see, while I'm sorry to tell you that QoS won't allow us to define an exact value for the specific clients; instead, we can setup different priorities for them.

Below is the instruction to setup QoS.

The QoS has the similar function as the bandwidth control, the router supports either bandwidth control or QoS.

Back to your case, actually you can use access control to satisfy your needs.

You can add the devices allowed to access internet into whitelist, and then other devices won't be able to access internet.

https://www.tp-link.com/support/faq/1009/

Or you can add the blocked access devices into blacklist.

May it help.

@Kevin_Z

Thank you for your answer but I think so I can not do that.  The blacklist blocked completely.  i can not lock my guests in the evening.  I would like to set it 50% for me and 50% for guests.  I would like to define an exact value (Mbit) for the guest WiFi.
