Access point mode not available in this model. How to activate access point mode so that a wired Internet connection (Ethernet) can be converted into a wifi access point. Tried upgrading firmware, still the old UI and not the New Blue one (with Mode option on Rt side top). Any solution.

Can this hardware be used as access point?

For your information, the TL-WA850RE V1 does not support access point mode; V2 or above supports this feature. 

 

It is the hardware limitation, and unlike firmware, hardware version cannot be upgraded.
