Guys,

In the model field i have select a different router model because there is no option to select mine

I have a TP-LINK Archer C20i AC750 wireless dual band router and i follow the below instructions in order to configure the router as a wireless access point. (https://www.tp-link.com/en/support/faq/417/?utm_medium=select-local). The whole process completed successfully BUT i m facing issues during the connection of the router with the android box. My provider confirm that the android box gets the correct IPs, but when i switch on the android box, at the beginning acts normally and after few seconds freeze and lost the signal.

Any suggestions??

@aloxaz

Thanks for reminding me that the Archer C20i is not there, we will add it later.

Back to your case, what is the current network diagram? With the Android box connected to the Archer C20i but freeze, what is the IP and gateway obtained by it?

What about other deivces? Can they get internet from the Archer C20i at the same time?

Besides, with andriod box connected to the main router, does it have the same issue?

Good day.

@Kevin_Z Tp link connected to the the modem with an ethernet cable and android box connected to tp link with an ethernet cable. The gateway obtain by the tp link is 192.168.10.254 - the same with the modem - and the provider said that this is the correct. Tp link wifi works perfectly.

Thanks for your reply.

What is the IP and gateway obtained by the Android box when it failed to get internet from Archer C20i?

At that time can it ping the gateway of the TP-Link router?

Try to assign a static IP for the Android box or reserve an IP for it on the web UI of Archer C20i.

https://www.tp-link.com/support/faq/182/

Besides, you can give a call to the tech support of the Android box to get some suggestioin as well.
