Firmware Version: 1.0.2

Hello

I cannot switch on parental control on Archer C60 because when adding a device a message appears: Cannot block the host MAC address.

 

What is the cause and how to resolve?

Unter advanced-securty-access control, "access control" is swithed on.

 

My setup is: In basement Fritzbox 6490 cable as router to Unitymedia provider (coax cable), then with LAN cable to living room Archer 60 as WiFi access point.

What is the current operation mode of the Archer C60? Is it wireless router mode or access point mode? 

 

Theoretically, the device used to access the web UI will be recognized as the host device.

 

If you want to block it, try to use another device to login to the web interface of the Archer C60 and enable the parental control.

thanky - problem is solved - I changed the router to Fritzbox
