Hi, I'm just wondering what a transmission power of 20 dBm of a range extender is. Is it the power of the signal that comes out of the extender or is it an increase of  20 dBm of the previous signal ?

Hi,

The transmit power is related to the distance that the wifi signal can reach. the higher the transmit power, the more distance that a signal can travel.

You can refer to the explanation below:

May it help and have a nice day.
