Model: TL-PA9020 KIT
Hardware Version:
Firmware Version:

I have a TL-WPA9610 connected to various extenders on a Powerline network. All connections to other adaptors on the network work fine except for one to a TL-PA9020 (LOUNGE on screenshot below).

The connection keeps dropping and I have to keep pairing the devices.

I might add that pairing does not work well from the power outlet that the PA9020 is plugged into. I normally have to take the adapter to another power socket. After it has paired, I move it back to the preferred socket. It works for a while, then drops again for no apparent reason.

I have tpPLC utility attached. This is what it shows:

Does anyone have any ideas why the connection keeps dropping when others don't?

Also, are there any basic instruction for the tpPLC utility?

Hi,

From the picture, we can see that the powerline speed between the main unit the lounge unit shows "?", that means the the speed may be slow, it is suggested to change another socket to plug it and test whether it works properly.

And what is the light status of the lounge unit when the connection lost?

Meanwhile, cause only this lounge unit have the unstable connection issue, you can exchange the positions between this unit and others to do a comparison analysis.

Besides, you can refer to the instruction below to narrow down the issue first.

For your last question, you can use tpPLC utility to change some settings of the powerline adapter, like change wifi settings, update the firmware and so on; you can refer to

May it help and have a nice day.
