Model: Adapter
Hardware Version:
Firmware Version:

I have an AV500 adapter which says 300mbps, my internet is 150mbps but the max it goes is 80mbps (when downloading something) sometimes a little more. Normal speedtests give between 60-75mbps. Could it be because the signal from the modem to the adapter isn't very strong?

Also I'm connected through ethernet from the adapter.

Hi,

What is the model number of the AV500 powerline adapters?

Meanwhile, generally speaking, the AV500 units use the 100Mbps ethernet port, that means the maximum speed you can get won't be higher than 100Mbps.

Combined with the network interference, the actual speed will be lower than 100Mbps.

Cause the bandwidth you paid is 150Mbps, to get full speed, it is suggested to use a powerline adapters with gigabit ethernet ports.

Note: The 7/8/9 series product have gigabit ethernet ports.

Good day.
