Set-up WIFI shedule Archer C7 - AC1750
Hi,
I'm trying to set-up 2 different WIFI networks with the 2.4 & 4.0 Ghz for some kids and adults with different WIFI shedules.
I would to create our network like this:
1) 2.4 Ghz which is only accessible for the kids between 16:00 and 22:00 and in the weekends from 9:00 - 22:00.
2) 4.0 Ghz which is always accessible for the adults/mentors (mobile phones / notebooks,..) all day/night long.
How can I set this up properly? I've tried trough the advanced settings of parental control but I can't find how to put up a shedule without having everyones MAC-adress.
The monday 5 kids show up, tuesday 15 with 3 new faces / 3 new devices,.. It's impossible to put them all in the parental control. How could I set this up?
Do I need to buy another router which allows more settings or some extra firmware you provide?
Thanks for you advice.
Kind Regards,
Donavan

Hello Donavan,
Sorry to tell you that the C7 V5 does not support wifi schedule yet, while there is a plan to add this function on multiple products in the future, you can keep an eye on our official website.
Right now, as a work around, it is suggested to keep the wifi password of 5GHz private and setup parental control to block kids' devices to access internet at the certain time.
May it help.
Good day.

Hi Donavan,
You are welcome, you can give it a go by setting up parental control.
