not sure what the last poster was getting at with his post about bandwidth...

Mine is still going fine...linked to this post above one thing i recall I did was to run the bandwidth test when you go into QOS and then set the values...Do you have anything set in the "Total Bandwidth" fields under QOS. Maybe this has to be done???

I didn't have to disable "Mesh Technology".

Just bought 3 Unifi NanoHDs.

Goodbye TPLink. I was a great customer until this experience. Never again.

Awesome solution camoto!

I can confirm, turning off mesh for all my devices worked.  In fact my security cameras are working better now than they have since I installed the deco system. It is a major pain going through ~40 devices and turning each mesh toggle off, but the entire system seems to be back to “better” than normal with this off. BTW, I also have beamforming turned off as well. If you are having problems, give camoto’s solution a try.

Thanks again man!

Glad it worked out for you. I wish I could say the same for me. I'm still having some Chromecast Discovery dropouts. It fixed some other issues though.

All,

I notice version 1.2.5 is not found with "Update Deco" any more.

I am having similar problems.

Network was very stable until this most recent firmware upgrade, applied a couple of days ago.

Now all of our phones (both Android and iPhone) are disconnecting from WiFi and cycle through "Obtaining IP address" but failing to reconnect.

Have tried forgetting the network and reentering the WiFi password which temporarily resolves but the problem comes back.

1.2.5 is still shown as the current version for V1 devices on the Firmware download site

In Deco app, “Update Deco” shows 1.2.4 is the latest.

When I checked 24 hours ago, it showed 1.2.5. I was wondering if I should update. It triggered me to check this forum!

That's interesting, does suggest that they may have recognised issues and pulled it.  Wish I had waited and checked too.

But I can't see that because I already upgraded  just says "currently up-to-date" on 1.2.5

Let's hope there's a 1.2.6 out to resolve this soon.

The thing here though, is that it has worked flawlessly until the latest firmware update.

I have now set the wifi to only 2.4, but this is not a solution. It's just a workaround.
