Hello,


My problem is the following. I have a router TL-WR841N (v13) and I want to configure it in hotspot mode. I am following the steps indicated in the manual and when I access the quick setup, I do not see the option of hotspot router. The options shown are...

Auto-Detect

Dynamic IP (Most common option)

Static IP

PPPoE/Russia PPPoE

L2TP/Russia L2TP

PPTP/Russia PPTP

 

I was watching tutorials to configure in hotspot mode of this same model and the screenshots shows a different interface, is it a firmware problem?

If you want to connect this 841N to another wifi network to boost wifi signal, you can follow the instruction below： https://www.tp-link.com/en/faq-227.html

While we cannot guarantee whether they will work well together due to the potential limits on the internet source.
