RE305 can connect to my router, but no Internet
Hardware Version :
Firmware Version :
ISP :
The setup was successful and the range extender connects to my Buffalo Air Station Nfinity HighPower Wi-Fi router with 2.4GHz.
The ER305 has all the needed LEDs on and it is within 1m of the Buffalo.
I can easily connect to it with my Galaxy Note8 and also with my laptop.
However, in both cases I get a message that "Internet may not be available", and it really isn't.
Switching back to the Buffalo, Internet is just fine.
How to do?

If yes, it means RE305 has successfully connected to your router.
Restart your router and check whether you set any filtering on your main router.
still no success, try to change another wireless channel on your router~

@Wilfried happens to me too, same model. I just went to the router homepage and re-start it from there. then everything works fine! Got internet both 2.4G and 5G already!

@MeWiFi I'm having the same issue but internet connection comes back when I reboot the RE305. However, the connection doesn't hold for long. And I keep getting disconnected from internet. All leds are still on. Just that there is no internet connection.
this is super irritating.

@ETango Hey, I am experiencing the same thing as you described - if I unplug and re-plug the repeater it works, but overnight, it looses the ability to get IP. Did you solve it?

Hi,
Thanks a lot for your time and patience.
May I know how long have you had the RE305 and did this issue start since you bought it?
What is the model number of the home router?
Did both 2.4ghz and 5ghz have the same issue or just 5ghz?
When the connection dropped, did the 2.4ghz and 5ghz still lit up?
What are the IP address and default gateway when the device lost the connection?
Thank you very much for your cooperation and support.

Same issue. All leds stay lit and other devices (camera. etc.) stay connected. But, when I try to reconnect with my phone, I get a message that there is "no internet connection". The only way I know to resolve is to unplug and plug in RE305. Anything else I can do? If not, I will have to return.
