vr2800 movie buffering problem

my old router tplink d9 .when i play movie from external hdd connected to the router .the buffering very fast and no problem .no lag
i upgrade to vr2800 .when i try to play movie in same way . the buffing is slow and lag in movies play .
i update firmware of vr2800 and same problem
please i need fix for this problem.
