I am able to setup the wifi extender sucessfully - My phone, ipad and other pc machines can connect to the extender wifi but my mac gives me a "incorrect password" message
I've seen a few older posts about macbooks not being able to connect with the wifi signal due to a "invalid password" even though other phones and pc are able to connect. there are suggestions to download the new firm ware (v4.0), but I have just bought this device and it is Ver 5.0

Model: TL-WA85ORE (EU) Ver 5.0 - will this firmware work?

I have tried everything on the macbook side in terms of emptying my wifi logins, and creating new DCHP's and resetting things till my tits fell off, but nothing seems to have helped.

Any solutions out there?
