I have the following problem:
My access to the router (and the powerline adapter connected to it) is getting blocked by a new wall in the apartment and I would have to go through my roommate's room every time to pair the powerline adapters which would be kind of annoying over time. The power also sometimes goes out during the day when I'm not home and I want the connection to remain encrypted at all time.



Are the powerline adapters that find each other automatically and encrypt the signal without the need for me pushing buttons on each adapter every time?

Also can i generally leave them on 24/7?
