Archer C8 bricked after frimware update

My TP-Link AC1750 C8 V1.0 router doesn't work after updating to "Archer C8(UN)_V1_160517" firmware. The only indication of any activity is the lit USB LED (even the Power LED is off). After the online upgrade tool was running for over 10 minutes, during which the webpage remained responsive, I turned the router off, and after turning it back on, the problem presented.
Pushing the reset button for any amount of time yielded no results, and now it's unreasponsive.
If there's a fix to this, I'd like to know,
