Get stuck on Looking for Deco
If the configuration got stuck on "looking for Deco", you have come to the right place and go on to get more troubleshooting suggestions.
Case One: Get stuck on "Looking for Deco" page and the page is not moving at all.
Case Two: Get stuck on “Looking for deco”, then Error code: We couldn’t find deco is displayed
Case one: Get stuck on "Looking for Deco" and the page is not moving at all.
Solution:
1. Turn off the "Remove animation" feature on Settings > Accessibility.
2. Set the "Animator duration scale" to "Animation scale 1x" if the phone has enabled the Developer options.

Case Two: Get stuck on “Looking for Deco”, then Error code "We couldn’t find Deco" is displayed
During the basic configuration of the main Deco
For Deco M5/P7/M9 Plus
1. Make sure Deco is flashing blue.
2. Disable Bluetooth and then enable it again on the mobile phone. If there is a Bluetooth device connected to the phone, please disconnect it temporarily.
4. Force the app to close (do not let the deco app run in the background), and then launch the app to configure the main Deco again.
Note:
1. For IOS 13 or higher version devices, please go to Settings on the iOS device, find the Deco app, and enable Bluetooth permission for the Deco app.
2. For smartphones with Android 13,
- Please make sure your Deco APP is up to date and the latest APP could be seen here-Deco APP 3.0.
- Please ensure the phone is connected to the Deco's Wi-Fi when configuring the main Deco, if the error message shows up again, tap "Use Wi-Fi to set up Deco" to finish the setup process.
For the other models
1. Move the phone closer to the main Deco. Make sure the phone has connected to the Deco Wi-Fi and has a valid IP address, such as 192.168.0.xxx.
2. Force to close the Deco app (do not let the deco app run in the background), and then launch the app to configure the main Deco again.
When adding the addition satellite Deco
1. Move the Satellite Deco unit next to the Main Deco, and reboot the Main Deco.
2. Make sure the Satellite Deco unit is pulsing blue.
3. Make sure you selected the correct model when configuring the Satellite Deco.
4. Connect the Satellite Deco unit to the Main Deco by an Ethernet cable, then try to add the Satellite Deco again.
Note:
- For Deco M5/P7/Deco M9 Plus only, Force the Deco app to close, then open the app and add the Satellite Deco again. If the app reminds "We couldn't find any new Deco", tap "TRY AGAIN", and then tap the "Setup via Bluetooth" option to complete the following setup steps (please disconnect any Bluetooth devices connected to the phone in this step).
- For Deco M3W, please refer to the following steps to troubleshoot.
1. Put the smartphone, Deco M3W, and the main Deco together, restart the Main Deco, and wait for 2 minutes. When the main Deco works properly, add the M3W unit again.
2. Reset Deco M3W and reconfigure it (Find the RESET button on the side of the Deco M3W, press it for one second, and then release).
3. Make sure you select the correct model when configuring M3W.
