TL-WR841N intermittent outages
Model :
Hardware Version :
Firmware Version :
ISP :
Configuration: ISP provided router is in modem mode connected to TP link router, router has Ethernet cable connected to computer and is also used for wifi devices. DHCP is enabled, Dynamic IP using google dns servers (8.8.8.8, 8.8.4.4), Wifi mode is bgn mixed on automatic channel width.High transmit power. All security options enabled.
My internet for the past couple of weeks has been having intermittent outages during the morning and evening/nightime. Restarting both the isp provided device and the TP link device will fix the problem however i'm looking for a more permanent fix. I have tried to restore to default and upgrade the firmware again but the problem persists.
On the TP link router the gear icon light will sometimes be off indicating a system error but i'm not sure what that means in terms of the device, like i previously mentioned restarting the devices fixes the issue, i then have an internet connection.
My ISP is have been indicating that there is a SNR error(Signal to noise) problem which could be causing it but i'm not sure anymore.
Thanks
