Model : TD-W9970

Hardware Version :

Firmware Version : 0.9.1 2.3 v0025.0 Build 150616 Rel.59521n

ISP :

Hello,

Bought a W9970 yesterday and I am experiencing constant disconnections from the internet. My broadband is a 15MB ADSL.
My ISP doesn't see anything unusual on their side. Internet was working fine with my old modem router.
I ran a diagnostic and all the tests from 'ping default gateway' fail (see screenshot attached).

Hardware version is: TD-W9970 v1 00000000

Thank you!

Try to set the DNS address on the router manually to 8.8.8.8

Also check the LEDs and line status on the status page, you may check whether the line is good according to this link: http://uk.tp-link.com/faq-546.html

I've bought the same router model and I'm testing it from yesterday, but the line keeps dropping every 2, 3 hours, even though the device is accessible from lan / wlan.

With my previous router there are no problems.

Did you solve your problem in some way ?

Im experiencing a similar problem as my device stop responding for some seconds each 2 or 3 hours (not sure the real time gap here). The problem affects even LAN as it stop respond a 'ping -t 192.168.1.1' command periodcally. Im sure its a issue with TD-W9970 but his log show no entries about this strange disconnections. My old device has no issues like this.

Has anyone faced such problem before?
