Hello everyone, I am trying to get my desktop PC, which has a built-in network adapter in its motherboard,to be connected to the internet using WiFi rather than the current wired Ethernet cable. For this, I am thinking of buying a USB adapter model TL-WN821N by TP-LINK.Question is, is that even gonna work?I am no big expert of networks and communications, but as far as I've checked, this USB adapter's standard is IEEE 802.11 n/g/b, while the supported standard in my router, a Netgear Genie VEGN2610, seems to be 802.11ac for wireless (both the router and adapter support the 2.4GHz frequency, so no problem here). Can anyone confirm I'll be able to surf the web wirelessly on my desktop using this adapter? And if not, which adapter should do the work?I am a home user, by the way. Kind regards, Mc
