Model :

Hardware Version : TL-WPA4200KIT

Firmware Version : 1.1.0.844 and 1.0.0.337

I have a sender + receiver from TL-WPA4200KIT, version 1.0 - later, I added and extra receiver, PA-411. These are set to broadcast WiFi that is used for a couple of phones, and a couple of tablets. I know these are a bit old, but they seem to do the job.
Using a Windows 10 program, I can see that the TP-Link devices send over 2.4GHz and it appears that this uses channel 1. On my Asus Transformer tablet (Windows 10), the connection speed is 150Mbps. The 5GHz band isn't used.

I would like to change the channel to 6, but I can't locate any TP-Link utilities that will let me do that. Any ideas?

Ok, I've found the answer. I was confused by believing that the Powerline Utility tpPLC was a replacement for the utility on the small CD that has a Rescan and a Connect button, and uses a web interface allowing a range of configuration. I have also used this to upgrade the firmware.
So, unless I have incorrectly upgraded the 3 devices I have (an odd assortment, all different) then problems solved.
