TL-WDN3200 slow using 2.4GHz

Using a WDN3200 on a Windows 8 PC and a Virgin Media Super Hub.
Internet connection is fine when I have Wireless frequency on hub set to 5GHz, but other devices in my house aren't compatible with 5Ghz so I have to have it on 2.4GHZ.
This makes internet on my PC very slow.
Have changed Wireless Mode on the hub to 300Mbps and played around with the channels (currently on 11) and it temporarily made things better. But still very slow.
Is there anything I can do to speed things up but keep it on 2.4GHZ?
