Hi

I have a C3150 V2 with very low firmware.
On the website there is a new firmware: http://nl.tp-link.com/download/Archer-C3150.html#Firmware

I downloaded the new firmware and tried to upload it through the gui, but it said Error 4503

When I touch the button in the gui to check for new firmware it says there's no new firmware, allthough it is on the website

The firmware I have is: 0.2.0 0.9.1 v005f.0 Build 160908 Rel.51843n

What could be the problem?

It seems a firmware only for United States, not for EU areas which obey the CE certificate. The firmware has been removed from the official website. And the new one for EU will be released in a month.

What is the difference between the US and the EU version? Can I put the US version on my C3150 or will it be broken?

The difference between US and EU versions is the wireless transmission power due to FCC&CE certifications. Devices that not follow the certifications will not be allowed to sold in the corresponding area.
To avoid that customers mistakenly upgrade the wrong firmwares, we have added upgrade restrictions on both EU/US firmwares. Once customer want to upgrade a US version on his EU model, then an error code will pop up.
