I use two Powerline AV500 to connect my TV to the internet. Now I need a second ethernet connection for a TV internet device. Will the remote AV500 work with a TL-SF1005D switch and provide 2+ ethernet connections? Thank you.

Yes, you can add a switch downstream of a PLC device. However do NOT use a plain desktop switch when IPTV is being used. You need a multicast-aware switch, or else the streaming traffic won't be handled correctly. For TP-Link product, you need at least the "Easy Smart" series.
